- The focus of this update is to address the current issues that are experienced in the Search Module of the Cyberschool Platform.
- Please take a look at each section and email our Support Department with any questions or concerns at support@iescentral.com.
We are continuing to work on issues throughout Cyberschool. Thank you to everyone who has brought their feedback to us so that we can work to make it better.
- (FIXED) Compressed all available search types into a single search request dependent on the selected search typess
- This improved the variety of search results and allowed for search results to appear and be filtered at the same time.
- (FIXED) Restructured and Removed the Advanced Search Parameters.
- Many of the elements of the Advanced Search Parameters were unused and/or unpopular. While they provided more accurate searching of the site; ultimately, they confused visitors.
- (NEW) Added Users as a type to be searchable in the Search Module
- Users can be a result from searching the User ID, Display Name (First & Last Name), Nickname, Email, Position, or Type
- Users can be omitted from the Groups & Users by editing their profile changing their "Show" statuses for the respective school.
- (FIXED) Set some widgets to have their content searchable when a search is performed.
- Certain content within widgets on Portals will cause the Portal to be returned as a search result.
