Our Customers' Opinion of Cyberschool
The superintendent of Barstow USD, Susan Levine, explained in the Education Executive May/June 2011 issue, how their Cyberschool website has proven to be a successful communication tool with parents and the community. In the article, she relates how the community has benefited from the tools available on their website and expresses the importance of having direct access to district staff, news, and information on a consistent basis.
Steve Thornton, director of technology at Menifee Union School District, praised the Cyberschool platform in an article published by DataBus Magazine. He believes Cyberschool assists his district in the following ways:
- Represents the district positively and projects a professional image;
- Serves as a primary communication tool for the community;
- Contains dynamic, up-to-date content;
- Can easily be maintained directly by content contributors;
- Provides template-based websites for classroom teachers;
- Requires minimal training;
- Is relatively inexpensive.
